This morning I was invited to join the family in feeding 9 monks their one meal for the day. They came to my second host's house and sat outside on fancy carpets. When I got there we just set up the food on roller tables. After that they prayed and I lifted my hands and Y'd but didn't pray. The we started to pass the food around. I have never seen so much food offered at 8 in the morning. They each had a fish steak, fruit, milk, yogurt, chocolate, coffee, rice, shrimp, bamboo shoots and a ton of other stuff. After we gave them food we retreated to the house and ate the leftovers. I'm still not used to eating shrimp etc. for breakfast so I had some grapes and a delicious Thai fruit and of course some chocolates and chocolate milk. After all this I was sent to school and went to my Thai lessons. After that I went back to my classroom to try to get on facebook to talk to my friends back home. It didn't work, even the computer teacher couldn't get it to connect. So I instead watched 3 episodes of Gilmore Girls and hung with my friends. A few girls had a music video playing on YouTube and were dancing with the backup dancers. There were two guys playing guitar and one singing, it was quite an eventful day. After school I walked to my third host's house and went on the computer for a few minutes to check my emails, then walked to aerobics. The aerobics teacher was super happy and she kicked our butts, she kept yelling yay...luckily it only lasted 45 minutes. After that I went back to her house and had fried rice and Rodee for dinner. Just got home and now I'm updating my blog for the day! It's Friday and I'm super tired even though I missed one day of school this week and even when I'm at school we do nothing. I never knew how tired being bored can make you. Good news I will be on Skype tomorrow night at 7:30-8 if anyone wants to talk that would be 7:30-8 am on Saturday in Minnesota. I will be talking to my dad and hopefully my bro. But after that if anyone wants to talk I will be on. At my third host mothers house I can connect my laptop and finally be able to Skype!!! I'm so excited.
Until Later, Dacotah Smith
