So after being out of school for almost another month I was greeted at school by hugs and waves and "where have you beens". Today was children's day and some girls from my school dressed up and did a dance in front of the entire school, pictures are soon to come. Anyways basically we exchange gifts and watch the different performances all day. Then after school once again I will be teaching English I saw one of my students at the school today and she brought all her friends to meet me. It was so cute. I also met another guy from the states. However he left the US when he was six and has lived in Panama, Brazil, Egypt, Pakistan and now Thailand for 15 years. He is married to a Thai women and has two kids. Both kids go to school at Pyamit and this is where I met him. He invited me to a party for the expats of Chiang Kham tomorrow night and then on Sunday I'm going to his house to hang and have some American steaks. I can't wait. Tomorrow I am also going to the temple to watch my mother give gifts to little kids, if I understood her right. Then teaching for two hours and then heading over to this party. Unfortunately besides the guys kids who are 5 and 8 I will be the youngest by about 30 years but it gives me something to do and will be hosted by a french chef. Pictures of the weekend will come soon.
Until Later, Dacotah Smith
