My cell phone has been found!! I also found myself adjusting better and faster than expected at first.
Last night when we went to dinner and we got our meal, I looked at it and couldn't help but wonder where the rice was. We eventually had to ask for some when the waiter came back. This was an abrupt and unexpected change, I get very sick of rice with every meal and to be expecting it was just a weird change. My host father went into town today and brought me back some ice cream which I found very kind and generous. He got it right before he left so it wouldn't melt on the way home and gave it to me to have after lunch. It was probably the nicest gesture he's made since I moved in here. Even though I didn't leave the house once today I managed not to stay to bored. I watched a movie on my laptop and read my book and listened to music and drew some awful looking pictures. I'm so excited to get my cell phone back just hoping I can find the charger! I also finished both of the tracing book that I was given when I entered the first grade class on Friday. I hurried and finished them so that hopefully they will teach me actual useful phrases that I might need to know. I can't wait to go to the first grade class in the morning and then return to my grade in the afternoon. It helps me from getting so bored.
Until Later, Dacotah Smith
