We went and talked to the directors wife today and she suggested that I spend all day every day with the 1st graders. I said no because I wouldn't make any Thai friends which I desperately need to do. So we worked it out and starting this morning I will study Thai with the 1st graders and then head back to my classroom. At first it was kind of embarrassing and right now I'm just tracing letters. But hopefully I can learn quick. My host mother took care of the snakes by putting a sulfur powder outside the doors. I'm so excited I found out my third host family lives next to two Internet cafes so I will be able to Skye. My friend also gave me the name of a site to download free Thai lessons with pronunciation and everything! So I'm downloading it right now and I can't wait! Don't have much time so this is it.

So glad that you will begin your Thai lessons. Hey, 1st graders are better than kindergartners, maybe a little taller? Sounds like the website will help also. You sound so much better, you must be adjusting to them and they to you. I am so glad. Didn't realize you were going to have other host families, thought only one.
